Details: There are various womyn's group collaborating on this event: Mystic Womyn, SECT Lesbian Social Group, Hartford Lesbian CoffeeHouse, Potlucky, etc. They will try to reserve the tables behind and to the left of the bathrooms, but bring a chair just in case there is limited seating.
What will be provided: Grill and paper products
Bring a dish to share and your own beverage
Pets are allowed if leashed
Beach but no swimming
$5 parking

Three films screening – we will separate into groups to see our favorite flick!

- Food, Inc. 7:00pm
- Whatever Works 7:10pm
Post-screening gathering at Starbucks across from the theatre.

FRESH Open Mic

FRESH is a non-profit organization in New London, CT and we work to transform the food system from what it is to what it ought to be: healthful, universally accessible, sustainable, just and beautiful!
On July 25th there will be many happenings at the FRESH community garden and I urge you all to go!

The theme is ‘Food & Culture.’ Come to perform or watch as folks share their voices, music and bodies to explore these ideas!
If you want to perform something (a poem, a song, a short dance, a short story, holding up a piece of art, whatever you want having to do with food and/or your culture!) please email me at chelsea.cleveland@gmail.com with what you want to do and your name so I can put you on the schedule! If you aren't sure and may want to perform you can just come on down the night of and sign up.
Tell your friends and family! Bring your kids! It'll be a really nice event in a beautiful community garden.
