James Credle, Retired Dean of Students at Rutgers University, Newark will talk about the 2003 tragic murder of 15 year old African-American lesbian Sakia Gunn of Newark, New Jersey and the public indifference to violence against LGBTQ people of color. Mr. Credle currently serves as Executive Director of the Newark Pride Alliance, a community organization geared toward creating an LGBTIQQTS Community Services Center.
