Monthly Meeting- Monday, 2/16/2009

Join us on Monday, February for our monthly meeting entitled "GET INVOLVED!" We will discussing upcoming events in the local and regional community. We will also do some event planning for NLPF. Please come and help learn about and plan fun and exciting events based on your interests. Bring a friend!!

Zachary O'Connor, a young gay man, will tell his positive story of coming out to his family at a young age. His story of the embracing love from his family is remarkable enough that it was featured on 20/20 and in the NY Times. Please consider coming to this event, Sunday, March 8 at 7:00 pm at Noank Baptist. Admission is free and all are welcome. We hope you'll be there and invite some friends along!

What's next for the LGBT rights movement in Connecticut? Join Love Makes a Family's Executive Director Anne Stanback and let us know where you think our organization should go next. Also, we look forward to talking to you about our work with the CT Anti-Discrimination Coalition, to add Gender Identity/Expression to our state's non-discrimination laws.
